Storage Archway Modern Slavery Statement
This Modern Slavery Statement is made by Storage Archway in respect of the financial year ending 31 December and sets out the steps we take to prevent modern slavery and human trafficking in our operations and supply chains. Storage Archway provides storage solutions and related services, and we recognise our responsibility to conduct business ethically, transparently, and with respect for human rights.
Our Commitment and Zero-Tolerance Policy
Storage Archway has a zero-tolerance approach to all forms of modern slavery, including forced labour, bonded labour, child labour, human trafficking, and any exploitation of vulnerable individuals. We are committed to acting with integrity in all our business dealings and to implementing and enforcing effective systems and controls to ensure that modern slavery is not taking place in our own operations or any part of our supply chains.
This commitment is supported by our leadership team and is embedded within our policies, procedures, and decision-making processes. All colleagues and those who work on our behalf are expected to uphold this stance at all times and to report any concerns immediately.
Our Business and Supply Chains
Storage Archway operates storage facilities and associated services. Our supply chains include providers of property and facility management services, security, cleaning, maintenance, equipment, technology, and various professional and administrative services. We recognise that modern slavery risks can arise at different points in these supply chains and we are committed to identifying and addressing such risks wherever they may occur.
Supplier Standards and Audits
We expect all suppliers, contractors, and business partners to share our values and to comply with applicable laws relating to labour, human rights, and modern slavery. Our supplier standards require that workers are employed voluntarily, are of legal working age, receive fair wages, and work in safe and humane conditions.
To support this, we conduct risk-based due diligence on new suppliers and carry out ongoing reviews of existing suppliers. Where a higher risk of modern slavery is identified, we may undertake additional checks, request supporting documentation on labour practices, and, where appropriate, conduct audits. These audits may include site visits, management interviews, and reviews of relevant records. If non-compliance is identified, we will work with the supplier to agree on corrective actions within a reasonable timeframe. Where serious or repeated breaches occur, we reserve the right to suspend or terminate the relationship.
Reporting Channels and Whistleblowing
Storage Archway encourages the reporting of any concerns relating to modern slavery, human trafficking, or unethical conduct within our operations or supply chains. Colleagues, contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders are encouraged to raise concerns through our established reporting channels or directly to management.
We maintain a whistleblowing culture where concerns can be raised in good faith without fear of victimisation or retaliation. All reports are treated seriously and, where appropriate, investigated promptly and impartially. Where an issue is confirmed, we will take appropriate remedial action and, if necessary, inform relevant authorities.
Training and Awareness
We are committed to raising awareness of modern slavery risks across our business. Relevant teams receive training on identifying indicators of modern slavery, understanding our policies, and knowing how to report concerns. We regularly remind staff of our zero-tolerance approach and their responsibility to act if they suspect any form of exploitation.
Monitoring, Review, and Continuous Improvement
Storage Archway recognises that preventing modern slavery is an ongoing process. We monitor the effectiveness of our measures through supplier assessments, feedback from colleagues, and reviews of reported concerns and incident outcomes. This helps us identify areas for improvement and strengthen our controls over time.
This Modern Slavery Statement is reviewed annually by senior management to ensure it remains current, effective, and aligned with best practice and legal requirements. Where necessary, we update our policies, procedures, and training to reflect evolving risks, regulatory developments, and lessons learned from our own experience and from industry practice.
By publishing this statement, Storage Archway affirms its commitment to combating modern slavery and human trafficking and to promoting ethical, transparent, and responsible business conduct throughout our operations and supply chains.
